Recently, the 1.2 mt/a ethylene and supporting low-carbon demonstration project of Dushanzi Petrochemical Tarim Phase II has successfully completed commissioning and been officially put into production.
Located in Korla Petrochemical Industrial Park, Xinjiang, the project has a total investment of over 25.6 billion yuan, with multiple high-end polyolefin production units constructed.
Upon completion, the total annual ethylene production capacity of Dushanzi Petrochemical has increased to 3.2 million tons, further consolidating the supply foundation of petrochemical raw materials in Northwest China.
Adhering to the green development concept, the project extensively utilizes local photovoltaic power and is equipped with advanced carbon dioxide capture and utilization technology, which greatly cuts carbon emissions during production.
