This project adopts the coupled cracking of methanol and naphtha + light hydrocarbon cracking technical route. It involves constructing a 1 mt/a methanol-naphtha coupled cracking unit. The methanol-naphtha coupled cracking section processes methanol and naphtha, producing 350,000 tons of ethylene annually. The light hydrocarbon cracking section processes ethane, propane, butane generated by the coupled cracking unit and supplemental purchased butane, yielding 650,000 tons of ethylene annually.
The total project investment is RMB 34,561.14 million.
The project includes two C4 utilization units: A 100kt/a butadiene extraction unit and a 210k/70k t/a MTBE/butene-1 unit (including selective hydrogenation and full hydrogenation sections)
The butadiene extraction unit employs SINOPEC ST's acetonitrile extraction process + alkyne selective hydrogenation technology.
The MTBE/butene-1 unit utilizes SINOPEC ST's proprietary technology.
