March 22, 2025 — Wison Engineering achieved a milestone in the 1-million-ton-per-year Methanol to Olefins (MTO) project for Guangxi Huayi Energy Chemical Co., Ltd., by flawlessly installing the world's largest MTO unit reactor onto its foundation. This critical advancement marks a pivotal phase in the project’s construction and lays a solid foundation for subsequent progress.
As the core equipment of the project, the reactor boasts a diameter of 10.8 meters, a length of 45.28 meters, and a total weight of 900 tons.
The hoisting of this reactor achieved three major technological breakthroughs in global MTO equipment construction:
First-time integrated factory manufacturing of the cyclone separation system and reactor shell.
First-time millimeter-level precision pre-installation of 16 sets of cyclone separators and lining components in the factory.
