The first largest-diameter iron-nickel-based alloy pipe in China was successfully rolled by Zhejiang Steel Pipe Rolling Co., Ltd. after being trial-produced by Daye Special Steel Co., Ltd. This specification is the largest-diameter iron-nickel-based alloy pipe used in domestic 650℃ ultra-supercritical power stations and above high-parameter environments. The breakthrough of this cutting-edge technology has filled the domestic gap and provided strong support for the high-end equipment manufacturing of China's power industry.
The new generation of ultra-supercritical large-diameter alloy pipes produced by the hot rolling process for the first time have a lower cost than those produced by hot extrusion, which will reduce the construction cost of power stations and have a profound significance for promoting energy conservation and emission reduction in thermal power.
