Recently, Petro-China Dushanzi Petrochemical Company Tarim 1.2 mt/a Phase II ethylene project officially launched.
Dushanzi Petrochemical Tarim 1.2 mt/a Phase II ethylene project is located in the northern edge of Taklimakan Desert, Korla Shangku Industrial Park. Relying on the rich oil and gas resources in the Tarim Basin, the project will build 1.2 mt/a of ethylene and downstream plants. It mainly includes 2 sets of 450kt/a full density polyethylene, 300kt/a low density polyethylene, 450kt/a polypropylene, 3 sets of 50kt/a butadiene rubber, 120kt/a butadiene extraction, 350kt/a cracking gasoline hydrogenation, 250kt/a aromatics extraction devices, etc. As well as supporting public works and auxiliary facilities, the application rate of its own technology exceeds 99%, and the localization rate of equipment exceeds 98%.
After the operation of the project, 100% of the use of "green electricity", comprehensive energy consumption is lower than the industry advanced level, carbon dioxide and sewage to achieve near zero emissions.
