Petro-China Guangxi Petrochemical, Refining and Chemical Integration Transformation and Upgrading Project (Qinzhou) is a major project in the national petrochemical industry planning and layout, with a total investment of about 30.5 billion yuan, which is planned to be fully completed and put into operation in 2025. The project relies on the existing crude oil processing capacity of the 10-million-ton refinery project of Petro-China Guangxi Petrochemical, and uses light naphtha and other products produced by the refinery as raw materials to build a million-ton ethylene cracking and downstream deep processing unit. After putting into operation, the production capacity of ethylene, propylene, butadiene and other basic chemical raw materials is about 2.76 million tons. And extend the development of high-end polyolefin, EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer), dissolved polyrubber and other high value-added products.
The oil refining block relies on the existing 30 sets of main production units, a new 2 million tons/year diesel adsorption and dearomatization unit and 400kt/a carbon dioxide recovery unit (including 100kt/a catalytic dry gas carbon dioxide recovery unit and 400kt/a carbon dioxide recovery unit, built in the chemical industry zone), and 2 sets of main production units are discontinued.
14 sets of new chemical main equipment in the chemical block, Including 1.2 mt/a ethylene unit, 550kt/a cracked gasoline hydrogenation unit/styrene extraction combined unit, 180kt/a butadiene extraction unit, 350kt/a aromatics extraction device, 400kt/a Full density polyethylene device (FDPE), 300kt/a high density polyethylene device (HDPE), 300kt/a tubular ethylene acetate device (EVA), 100kt/a kettle ethylene acetate device (H-EVA), 400kt/a polypropylene device (H-EVA) PP), 50kt/a hexene-1 device, 300kt/a polystyrene device (PS).
