Lanzhou Petrochemical Company will build phase II million-ton ethylene plant in Changqing base, and the ethylene scale in Ordos Basin will reach 2 mt/a.
Ordos Basin is the most important petrochemical base built by Lanzhou Petrochemical in an easy place, and has built 800kt/a ethane ethylene plant in Yulin, Shaanxi Province, which is also the first set of ethane ethylene plant in China.
Lanzhou Petrochemical has undergone grain fermentation to produce ethylene, crude oil catalytic cracking to produce ethylene, ethane dehydrogenation to produce ethylene, and is currently promoting the molecular chain restructuring to produce ethylene project, and the subsequent chain has also changed from basic raw materials such as polyolefin and resin to high-end materials.
Ordos Basin will build 1.2 mt/a ethylene plant, in Ordos and Yulin base competition, Ordos base may be larger, in the Ordos Basin will form 2 mt/a ethylene production scale.
The Lanzhou base will focus on scientific research, experiment and innovation, and will start the molecular chain restructuring industry transformation of crude oil from Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Iran, realize the chain restructuring from C1 to C9, transform to new materials, and gradually abandon low-end conventional products such as polyolefin.
