3 mt/a heavy oil catalytic cracking unit of Anqing Petrochemical was successfully put into operation and produced qualified products, marking that Sinopec has become a leader in the application of heavy oil catalytic cracking technology.
The device is the first industrial application of SINOPEC's latest high-efficiency catalytic cracking technology for heavy oil, which is the key technology and integrated demonstration of chemical refinery, and has explored a development path for domestic refining enterprises to cope with overcapacity, explore the transformation and upgrading of fuel refinery to chemical refinery and high-quality development.
The project will start construction on June 25, 2021, and be completed on December 31, 2022. After the plant is started, the Anqing Petrochemical refining to chemical structure adjustment project will open up the whole process and enter the comprehensive trial production stage. The project uses new technology, new equipment and advanced control means, the use of the latest safety and environmental protection measures, the safety control level and clean production capacity have been effectively improved, and the output of environmentally friendly chemical new material products has increased significantly.
