Recently, the groundbreaking ceremony of 2 sets 450kt/a polypropylene plant of Daxie Petrochemical refining and Chemical Integration Project was held at the project site. This is the largest polypropylene project of the same series in China at present, the project adopts Sinopec's third generation of tubular polypropylene process technology (ST-III), the products include homopolization, random copolymerization and impact copolymerization, etc. After the completion of the project, Daxie Petrochemical's polypropylene production capacity will reach 1.2 mt/a, which is conducive to Daxie Petrochemical to strengthen the industrial base, develop and expand the industrial chain.
Located in Daxie Development Zone, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, the project is an important supporting downstream project of product renovation and expansion of Daxie Petrochemical, refining and chemical integration project. After the project is completed and put into operation, it is of great significance to the upgrading and expansion of the whole product line of Daxie Petrochemical.
