The plan involves the construction of a new 1mt/a methanol naphtha coupled cracking unit and 17 downstream chemical units. The 17 new units are as follows: methanol naphtha coupled cracking unit, butadiene unit, MTBE/butene-1 unit (including selective hydrogenation and full hydrogenation sections), cracked gasoline hydrogenation unit, aromatic extraction unit, VCM unit, PVC unit, EVOH unit, EVA/LDPE unit, FDPE unit, alpha-olefin unit, POE unit, PP unit, CHPPO unit, polyether polyol unit, 1,3-propanediol unit, and PTT unit.
This project adopts the methanol naphtha coupled cracking + light hydrocarbon cracking technology route. A 1mt/a methanol naphtha coupled cracking unit will be constructed. The methanol naphtha coupled cracking section processes methanol and naphtha, with an annual output of 350,000 tons of ethylene. The light hydrocarbon cracking section processes ethane, propane, butane produced by the coupled cracking unit, along with some externally purchased butane, with an annual output of 650,000 tons of ethylene.
