The first shipment of oversized equipment for Maoming Petrochemical's refining transformation and upgrading as well as ethylene quality improvement project was successfully discharged and transported ashore, marking the project's transition into the critical installation stage for major equipment.
It is learned that the "Four Major Towers" (ethylene tower, No.1 propylene tower, No.2 propylene tower, and caustic wash tower) unloaded from this vessel shipment are crucial large-scale components for the No.3 ethylene plant within the upgrading project. The No.3 ethylene plant serves as the key facility enabling Maoming Petrochemical to expand its ethylene production capacity from 1 mt/a to 1.64 mt/a in this project.
