Recently, the pile foundation construction began for the hydrocracking unit of Jiujiang Petrochemical's 1.5 mt/a aromatics and oil refining upgrading project. This marks the launch of construction for the third core unit following the pile foundation works of the continuous reforming unit and aromatics complex.
The project scope includes:
New 1.5 mt/a aromatics unit
New 2 mt/a continuous reforming unit (with pre-hydrogenation), including LPG separation facilities
New 2 mt/a hydrocracking unit
Revamping existing residue hydroprocessing unit into 2 mt/a combined-bed residue hydrogenation
New 120,000 Nm³/h PSA hydrogen production unit
New product refining unit
New 70,000 t/a sulfur recovery complex
Supporting construction and upgrading of existing storage/transportation facilities and utilities.
