Jiayuguan Juda Smelting Co., Ltd. is constructing a new 100,000-ton annual high-carbon ferrochrome production project. The project primarily consists of a raw material batching system, submerged arc furnace workshops, and a gas power generation system. It will be implemented in two phases:
Phase 1 includes the construction of:
1 electric furnace workshop for high-carbon ferrochrome production
1 × 33,000 kVA submerged arc furnace
Gas power generation system
Auxiliary facilities such as an automated batching system and circulating water system.
Phase 2 involves:
Installation of an additional 33,000 kVA submerged arc furnace
Expansion of the gas power generation system
Supporting gas purification equipment
Auxiliary facilities including a circulating water system.
This phased approach ensures systematic infrastructure development and operational efficiency for the project.
