With a total investment of CNY 10.29 billion, this project adopts Sinopec's proprietary technology.
The project involves:
Construction of a new 1.5 mt/a aromatics unit
A 2 mt/a continuous reforming unit (including pre-hydrogenation) with LPG separation facilities
A new 2 mt/a hydrocracking unit
Revamping existing residue hydroprocessing units into a 2 mt/a combined-bed residue hydroprocessing system
A 120,000 Nm³/h PSA hydrogen production unit
A new 70,000 t/a sulfur recovery complex
Supporting infrastructure includes new construction and upgrades of existing storage/transportation facilities. Upon completion, the project will help establish an integrated refining-aromatics development framework and propel the company toward full industrial chain development spanning "refining + aromatics + PTA + PET + end products".
