The Yulong Island Refinery and Petrochemical Integration (Phase I) Project Vacuum Distillation and Atmospheric Distillation Complex has commenced operation.
As a key project in Shandong Province, the Vacuum Distillation and Atmospheric Distillation Complex is the "flagship unit" of the Yulong Island Refinery and Petrochemical Integration (Phase I) Project, located in the Yulong Petrochemical Industrial Park in Longkou, Yantai, Shandong Province, with a construction area of 88,600 square meters. The construction content includes a 10mt/a vacuum distillation unit, a 10mt/a atmospheric distillation unit, two LPG recovery units, two light hydrocarbon recovery units, two desulphurization units, and supporting facilities.
Upon completion and commencement of operation, the project will realize the full-process high-value utilization of crude oil by constructing a complete industrial chain for refining and petrochemicals, accelerating the metamorphosis and upgrading of Shandong's high-end petrochemical industry, and aiming to build a "domestically leading and world-class" high-end petrochemical industrial base.
