The Project is undertaken by China Chemical Engineering Third Construction Co., Ltd., has officially commenced the construction and installation work for the Unipol polypropylene unit.
The project has a preliminary research and development investment of 23.88 billion yuan, with the main construction content including 2.2 million tons of methanol per year, 0.9 million tons of polyolefins, and the optimization and upgrading of the existing coal chemical phase one project, as well as the construction of a 250,000-ton-per-year LDPE/EVA downstream and supporting project. The main equipment of the project includes air separation, gasification, purification, sulfur recovery, methanol synthesis, MTO, olefin separation, three polyolefin units, and one EVA unit, with the expected completion and trial operation in 2026.
