NanGang Ethylene Project

Sinopec and INEOS jointly perate the NanGang Ethylene Project, which is being built by Sinopec with a capacity of 1.2 million tons per year. The project is scheduled to enter commercial operation in April 2024. The NanGang Ethylene Project mainly includes a 1.2 mt/a ethylene cracking unit, as well as a 500kt/a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) unit using Ineos technology, and 11 downstream units using Sinopec technology, including a 100kt/a polyolefin elastomer (POE), 200kt/a linear alpha-olefin (LAO), and 100kt/a ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE).
