The project has a total investment of 35.68 billion yuan, which is the largest industrial project in Hunan's history in terms of individual investment.
The project will construct a new 10 mt/a ethylene unit and 14 downstream units, including an ethylene unit, an EVA unit, an HDPE unit, an LLDPE unit, a benzene unit from aromatics, a butadiene extraction unit, an MTBE/butene-1 unit, a hydrogenation unit for pyrolysis gasoline, a benzene extraction unit, a styrene extraction unit, a C5 separation unit, a CHPPO unit, a phenol/acetone unit, and a bisphenol A unit, as well as necessary storage and transportation facilities, utility facilities, auxiliary facilities, and off-site facilities.
