The five bidding sections of Huajin Aramco Petrochemical Aromatics joint plant, carbon dioxide recovery and product refining plant, which were contracted by Guangzhou Engineering Company has started construction.
Located in Liaobin Economic Development Zone, Panjin City, Liaoning Province, the project is a China-Saudi Arabia cooperation project. The main construction contents include 32 sets of production units and supporting facilities, such as 15 mt/a of oil refining, 1.65 mt/a of ethylene and 2 mt/a of PX. After the completion of the project, it will effectively promote the development of Liaoning coastal economic belt and revitalize the old industrial base in Northeast China.
Up to now, the project has 20 sets of production equipment started, more than half of the progress, supporting the owner's wharf, storage and transportation, public works projects also began construction.
