Sinopec Jianghan Salt Chemical Hubei Co., LTD., the new 800kt/a salt and nitrate co-production plant project is located in No.8 Hongqi Road, Wangchang, Qianjiang, Hubei Province, invested by Sinopec Jianghan Salt Chemical Hubei Co., LTD. Construction of salt and nitrate co-production equipment soda ash warehouse, brine purification, circulating water station and other buildings, the project construction area of about 9,735 square meters, the purchase of 60 (sets) equipment supporting the construction of environmental protection facilities, after completion and put into operation to build an annual output of 800kt of industrial salt, 147kt of sodium sulfate production capacity.
With A total investment of 1.968 billion yuan, the project adopts the domestic hydrochloric acid phase suspension chlorination process to build 50kt/a chlorinated polyethylene plant, which has the production capacity of resin type (A type material), rubber type (B type material) and flame retardant modifier (C type material) products. The sodium process independently developed by Sinopec is used to build 200kt/a caustic soda plant and 800kt/a salt-nitrate co-production plant.
After the completion of the project, we will further expand the production capacity of chlorine disinfectants, the core advantage products, develop non-cyclical products such as chlorine new materials, enhance the profitability of the enterprise, and improve the overall economic benefits of the enterprise.
