In November 2023, Sinochem Quanzhou
Petrochemical Co., Ltd. approved the 100kt/a EVA project!
The project is located in Quanhui
Petrochemical Industrial Park, Hui 'an County, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province,
and uses ExxonMobil kettle process to build a set of 100,000 tons EVA project.
The project covers an area of 59200m2 with a total investment of
2772.3 million yuan.
In addition, Sinochem Quanzhou plans to
expand the capacity of its 100,000 tons/year EVA plant to 140kt/a. After all
production, Sinochem Quanzhou EVA production capacity will reach 240kt/a.
This project intends to adopt the autoclave
process of Mei Mobil, and the VA content of EVA products to be produced can
reach 33wt%. The products can be widely used in high-end fields such as solar
packaging film and hot melt adhesive, with high added value, which is in line
with the development direction of China's chemical industry and national
industrial policies. In order to ensure the high quality of products and reduce
the production cost, to ensure that the energy consumption of the production of
the device to the minimum laid the foundation, compared with similar domestic
devices have a strong advantage.
