Jilin Petrochemical Refining and Chemical transformation and upgrading project, with a total investment of 33.9 billion yuan, is the largest single industrial project in Jilin Province. The project includes 21 sets of refining and chemical plants with an annual output of 1.2 mt/a of ethylene and 600kt/a of ABS, 9 sets of retrofitted plants, and 7 sets of plants with an annual output of 150kt/a of ethylene.
The project will build 1.2 mt/a ethylene plant, The downstream supporting construction of 1 mt/a cracked gasoline hydrogenation, 450kt/a aromatics extraction joint device, 400kt/a high-density polyethylene device, 300kt/a ethylene oxide device, 400kt/a EVA device, 350kt/a phenolacetone device, 240kt/a bisphenol A device, 40kt/a ethylene propylene rubber device, 600kt/a styrene device, 260kt/a acrylonitrile device, 600kt/a ABS device, 800kt/a solvent deasphalting device, 160kt/a asphalt gas making device, 50kt/a butadiene rubber device, 200kt/a butadiene extraction device, 8kt/a acetonitrile device.
After the project is completed and put into operation which can reduce 2.63 million tons of oil products and increase chemical products by about 2.8 million tons annually. The total ethylene production capacity reached 1.9 million tons per year; Advantages of chemical products ABS resin, acrylonitrile, methyl ester production capacity leading in China; Ethylene propylene rubber, styrene, high-density polyethylene scale advantages to give full play; New EVA, bisphenol A, butadiene rubber and other products, to promote the further extension of the industrial chain, product structure is more reasonable.
