Jilin Petrochemical Company refining and chemical transformation and upgrading project 600kt/a styrene plant, by the process production plant and public works and auxiliary facilities of two parts. The process production unit includes ethylbenzene unit, styrene unit, auxiliary system, utility system, intermediate tank area, benzene storage tank VOCs collection facility, hydrogen pressure swing adsorption (PSA) unit, and internal pipe gallery of the unit; Public works and auxiliary facilities include on-site cabinet room, plant substation, contaminated rainwater collection pool, plant process and external heating pipe, plant water supply and drainage pipe network, plant electrical line, plant telecommunications line and plant general drawing. The device has the characteristics of a large number of process equipment and complex pipeline materials, including 300 sets of dynamic and static equipment, with a total tonnage of 6081 tons; Process pipe material includes carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel and other more than 10 kinds of materials, welding equivalent of about 400,000 inches.
This device is built in the original site of the compression workshop of the old synthetic ammonia plant in the fertilizer plant, with a total area of about 73,000 square meters, about 300 sets of equipment need to be installed, the construction of finished product tank farm, environmental protection devices and other supporting facilities, using the most advanced, most reliable and most reasonable production technology in the world. The plant will be built by petrochina Jilin Chemical Construction Engineering Co., LTD., and is scheduled to be put into operation in August 2025.
