A few days ago, Maoming Petrochemical completed the instrument relocation project of the chemical center control room. The chemical center control room was successfully put into use, and 9 sets of device control systems were localized. This is also the first domestic large-scale cracking unit control system to complete the localization transformation.
Maoming Petrochemical Plant originally had 9 DCS control rooms, and there have always been problems such as the dispersion of the control rooms of various devices and the difficulty of management and production scheduling. Maoming Petrochemical decided to build a central control room for the entire chemical plant. They overcame the difficulty that factory personnel could not come to the site during the epidemic, pioneered the use of cloud controllers and Zhejiang Zhongkong to complete the acceptance test, and remotely trained operators and instrument engineers for more than 200 person-times.
The relocation project took 27 days to complete the relocation, debugging and upgrading of 52 systems. The newly-built chemical center control room covers an area of more than 4,000 square meters, which can realize centralized control of 50 sets of main devices and 75 sets of system production and operation, and is equipped with functional rooms such as engineer stations, cabinet rooms, and air-conditioning rooms. In the process of system relocation, the localization transformation of the control system of No. 2 cracking unit is the highlight. With no experience to follow, they set up a research team to carry out technical research. After 27 days of debugging, they successfully completed the localized transformation of the device control system.
