This project commenced preparatory work in 2023, with a total investment of approximately CNY 245.2336 billion. The planned construction period spans from June 2025 to June 2028.
Key construction areas include:Process production plant area, Utilities area, Administrative facilities area, Auxiliary production facilities, Storage, warehousing, and loading/unloading facilities, Supporting infrastructure (roads, passageways, landscaping, etc.).
Major engineering works and installations comprise:
New 1.2 mt/a ethylene cracking plant, 400kt/a HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) unit, Two sets of 400kt/a FDPE (Full-Density Polyethylene) units, 1.3 mt/a CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage) facility(12 sets of installations in total).
Supporting infrastructure includes: Auxiliary production facilities, On-site utilities, Dedicated off-site railway line, Residential facilities.
