On March 8, 2025, the stainless steel cold rolling project of Inner Mongolia Jingjiu Stainless Steel Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 280 million yuan, officially broke ground. This project is a critical link in extending the stainless steel industrial chain in Naiman Banner. The plan includes the installation of two sets of cold-rolled stainless steel strip production lines and three sets of annealing lines. In the first phase, the project will be equipped with eight 950 cold rolling mills and twelve annealing furnaces. It is expected to be completed and put into operation in July.
Once fully operational, the project will achieve an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons of cold-rolled stainless steel sheets, generating an annual output value of approximately 3 billion yuan and tax revenues exceeding 50 million yuan. It will also provide employment for over 100 people.
