By the end of November 2024, the first batch of facilities of this project had been successfully commissioning, and the recent trial operation process has been stable. It is understood that the 11 mt/a atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit, as the core facility of the second phase project, is scheduled to be put into operation in January 2025, indicating that the second phase project of Zhenhai Refining & Chemical is about to enter the formal operation stage.
While the second phase of Zhenhai Refining & Chemical is being put into production, the expansion project of a 1.5 mt/a ethylene and downstream new materials industry is also under rapid construction. Once completed, it will form a 38 mt/a refining capacity and a 3.7 mt/a ethylene capacity, continuously extending the downstream fine chemical industry chain and creating new competitiveness with a diversified product line.
