This project is located in Uyuni City, Potosi Province, Bolivia, and includes the construction of four factories, including sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide, and sodium carbonate, as well as the infrastructure and supporting facilities of the industrial park. East China Technology serves as the EPC contractor, responsible for the research, engineering design, procurement of equipment and materials, construction, commissioning, performance testing, trial operation, and all other work during the warranty period of the project. The construction period is 46 months, and the performance testing period is 2 months. The total contract amount is approximately RMB 2.63 billion.
This is also the largest scale project currently undertaken by China Chemical in South America.
