The project is located in the Advanced Manufacturing Development Zone of Mengjin District, Luoyang City, with a total investment of 27.8 billion yuan.
The million tons ethylene project of Luoyang Petrochemical includes the construction of a new 1 mt/a ethylene plant, 600kt/a cracking gasoline hydrogenation unit, 400kt/a aromatics extraction device, 300kt/a m-LLDPE device, 350kt/a HDPE device, 350kt/a 3# polypropylene device.
The project is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in December 2025. After putting into operation, the project can add an annual output value of 20 billion yuan and a new tax revenue of 1.8 billion yuan, and ultimately build a first-class green petrochemical advanced materials industry base in China.
