Guangxi Petrochemical, refining and chemical integration transformation and upgrading project 180kt/a butadiene extraction device, 100kt/a MTBE and 60kt/a butene-1 co-production device officially started. So far, Guangxi petrochemical, refining and chemical integration transformation and upgrading project has started construction of 5 sets of main devices.
The butadiene extraction device and MTBE/ butene-1 co-production device all adopt the complete set of process technology with independent intellectual property rights of Beijing project management company Lanzhou World Engineering Co., LTD., and are designed and constructed by the company, which is expected to be delivered on March 30, 2025. The main product of the butadiene extraction device is butadiene, which provides the main raw materials for the synthetic rubber production of the refining and chemical integration transformation and upgrading project. The main products of MTBE/ Butene-1 co-production plant are MTBE and high-purity polymerized grade 1-butene products, among which 1-butene products provide raw materials for downstream polyethylene plants.
