Gaoqiao Petrochemical Caojing plant has built 200kt/a phenolacetone unit, 100kt/a styrene butadiene rubber unit and 200kt/a ABS unit. Based on the analysis and judgment of the ABS product market and the evaluation of the on-site production plant, Gaoqiao Petrochemical plans to increase the ABS product capacity to 300kt/a. The existing ABS unit has a total of 3 production lines, and uses the ABS production technology of DOW Chemical Company in the United States, which is the most advanced production technology. The project plans to copy an ABS production line (the 4th # production line) using the existing production technology. By increasing the effective production time, the existing ABS production capacity will be increased to the designed production capacity of the plant. The full load production capacity of each production line will be 75,kt/a, and the total production capacity of the four production lines will be 300kt/a after completion.
The total investment of the project is about 778.52 million yuan, of which the environmental protection investment is about 4.147 million yuan, accounting for 0.53% of the total construction investment of the project. The construction period is eight months, and construction is expected to start in May 2023 and complete in January 2024.
