The device accepts most of the upstream products of refining, and at the same time provides raw materials for all downstream equipment in the chemical industry to ensure smooth refining and chemical integration processes .
Since its commissioning, the steam cracking unit has been operating stably and optimally for more than 200 days, and the number of unplanned shutdowns has been zero. Since the beginning of this year, Zhongke Refining & Chemical has produced 407,000 tons of ethylene, exceeding the half-year ethylene output task. Its main economic and technical indicators are among the advanced in the industry, and its efficiency ranks first among Sinopec's refining and chemical enterprises of the same scale.
The localization of steam cracker
"Zhongke Refining & Chemical's steam cracking unit has created many'precedents', with an overall localization rate of 95%. Zhongke Refining Co., Ltd. has the courage to be the first person to eat crabs. The first domestic large-scale gas cracking furnace with a capacity of 300,000 tons/year, manufactured by Sinopec`s own CBL cracking technology and the world`s largest, was put into use for the first time in Zhongke Refinery.
Zhongke Refinery adopts the CBL gas cracking furnace technology independently developed by Sinopec, and adopts the internationally leading domestically produced ultra-low nitrogen burner, the combustion chamber is clear and transparent, and the thermal efficiency exceeds 95%. The waste heat of pyrolysis gas is fully recovered, and the by-product ultra-high pressure steam is nearly 120 tons/hour. At present, the furnace has successfully completed the first cycle of operation in Zhongke Refining & Chemical Co., Ltd., which proves the reliability and advancement of the technology, marks a new milestone in the domestic independent ethylene process technology, and fills another gap in the localization technology.
In addition to the core equipment, Zhongke Refinery has accelerated the progress of localization in the development of complete sets of technology for the steam cracker process package. In order to break the foreign monopoly, Sinopec launched the first domestic development of the ethylene three-machine dry gas seal and control system at Zhongke Refinery in 2017, which was established as a major equipment localization project. As of June 25th, 12 sets of dry gas seals and 6 sets of control systems for the three ethylene machines of Zhongke Refining & Chemical Co., Ltd. are well sealed. All technical parameters are up to standard, breaking the foreign monopoly and filling the shortcomings of the three ethylene machines relying on imports.
